Something Special about Sushi

It was an eating outing on last lazy Sunday where 2 friends of my wife and I went out just to have our 'brunch' at at about 11:30am. These friends just like japanese so much that they have tried most of the japanese restaurant in town. So, my wife suggested this eatery in 1 of the hottest new shopping mall in town, "The Garden", annexed to the wellknown Mid Valley shopping complex. Nothing fancy but it's called "Sushi Zanmai".
This sushi eatery has a very typical japanese interior design with timber doors, table, windows and partition; light colour themed with sufficient lighting brought a bit of relaxing feeling to us and did create a good appetite (maybe we were so hungry).
Nothing really special about the outlook but was the food. Open kitchen (with see-through glass partition) is the current trend and provided customer a hygienic perspective view in the first place. The circulating moving serving tray was full of all variety of sushi for who is too hungry to wait for their mian dishes.
We ordered some rice and ramen with soups and Shashimi. What really impressed us is the freshness of the filling. Umm... either it's salmon, soft shell crab, octopus or even rice, they are all very yummy, crispy, soft, and most importantly, FRESH.
And lastly and important aspect of the whole meal was either we got a reasonable bill, and yes, we got it with a 20% discount voucher for our next visit. It was a satisfactory 'brunch'.
