It was only my hobby initially to blog about my opinions to things, people and places around me. However, new supplemental blogs evolved along the way. Good Money Maker blog was created to feature free blog reviews to potential money making young blogs; while Good Builder's Diary is mainly my proffession's diary.

Then it came to a stage when I decided to have 2 dedicated travel blogs: Look!See!Look!See! Malaysia is to promote Malaysian Tourism while Travel Feeder is seriously created to provide informative travel tips and guides.

I hope my readers could enjoy any one of my blogs and give gracious comments for inspiration. Naked Ozone dot Com will sure be posting more articles and interesting stories in future. - Naked Ozone

Good Day - Chinese Ghost Festival

Today is our Chinese Ghost Festival, or Zhongyuan Jie (Midyear Festival in Chinese) as it drops on the month of July in lunar calender. According to Chinese tradition, 14th day of July every year mark the date whereby door of hell would be closed at midnight after the opening on the beginning of July. For these half a month of July, ghosts and spirits, including those of the deceased ancestors from hell are free to come back to the living world for a tour! During the Qingming Festival the living descendants pay homage to their ancestors and on Ghost Day, the deceased visit the living. It is considered as New Year to the ghosts from underworld!
In conjunction of the festival, 'Por Dor' celebration is held through out this period of time by Chinese coummunity to welcome ghosts with an array of foods and entertainment such as concerts and dancing. Usually 'Por Dor' celebrates for about 3 days. While the first 2 days are praying session for the chinese with burning of huge amount of joss sticks and papers, the last day is the charity dinner for whoever interested and normally auction for Feng Shui products are being conducted.
In chinese belief, during this 14 days, children, especially babies below 1 year old are not allowed to go out at night or after 7pm, as they believe these innocent groups of human might accidentally 'see' those ghost on the streets and be frightened! There is friend of mine who has the capability of seeing spirits around told me that night streets during the Chinese Ghost Festival are full of ghosts. And further more, no Chinese couple will get married during this lunar month of July. This is some information on the good Chinese day by Naked Ozone.

Amazing Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony!

The 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics Game is finally started on 8th August 2008, which in short would be 080808. The opening ceremony started at 8 o'clock in the evening. This is Chinese belief on the number '8' that will bring them prosperity! The more 8 they have got, the more wealth them would be earning! Let's put aside the number 8, the opening ceremony was really fantastic. It was held at the Beijing newly completed State-of-the-art 'Bird's Nest' national stadium. The ceremony was directed by Chinese filmmaker Zhang Yimou and featured a cast of over 15,000 performers, and was dubbed beforehand as "the most spectacular Olympics Opening Ceremony ever produced".
Until midnight, the Olympic Flame was finally lighted up by the former Olympic Gymnastic 3-Gold medalist, Li-Ning, in tremendous style: he was running in the air around the top of the stadium holding the Olympic Torch until he reached the giant torch. It is hard to describe the scene by word so I've uploaded the short film here and hope you would enjoy it as much as I do.
